RECONDITOINING HOPPER WITH SLAT CONVEYOR
This hopper with slat conveyor was delivered to BOFAR for a full overhaul. We designed and built a new bunker, refurbished the slats and repaired all wear parts. Additionally a new dosing slider was designed that can be operated from both sides. All bearings, chains and cogs were checked and all parts with wear were replaced.
SOUNDPROOFING OF MILLING LINE
BOFAR was commissioned to design, manufacture and install soundproofing in a 355kW milling line. The request was to install this soundproofing without disrupting operations. The process was only stopped once to re-wire the operating panels.
These 150mm panels reduce noise emmissions by >35dB, and simultaneously serve as fireproofing of the installation.
RECONDITOINING HOPPER WITH SLAT CONVEYOR
Another hopper with slat conveyor was delivered to BOFAR for overhaul. We adjusted the bunker to hold 9m³, refurbished or replaced all wear partsand removed the dosing slider.
CABLE PROCESSING INSTALLATION
BOFAR was asked to plan and construct a compact sized cable granulation plant on very limited space, but allowing for the production capacity of a much larger installation. Since completion 14 months ago this processing line has completed almost 2000 production hours, processing - on average - more than 50% above the projected capacity. To reduce construction cost, a refurbished Alpine granulator and turbo-mill were incorporated into the system.
ALPINE UZ 45-125 - REFURBISHMENT
This Alpine Universal Shredder UZ 45-125 has had an extensive career in Switzerland before BOFAR acquired the machine form it's first owner. After a complete overhaul this machine has found a new home in Czech Republic, where it is once again being used to cut cable scrap.
ALPINE RO 63/100 RECONDITIONING
This Rotoplex 63/100 had been used in Switzerland by it's first owner for several years. Before commisioning this machine in a new project in the Netherlands, we decided to perform a full rebuild. This allows the machine to perform exactly like a new one for the next decade - or even longer. Since commisioning in 2021 this granulator has already produced nearly 2000 hours without fault.
Centric eddy-current 24C reconditioning
This centric 24C was not old, but used in a very harsh environment. BOFAR duly reconditioned the installation to make it as good as new
ELDAN M6 cable stripper upgrade
Cable strippers usually get mistreated a lot during their life. To extend this installations lifespan BOFAR not only reconditioned the machine, but added upgrades to extend the service intervals.
